Kyle Carrington asked ;
Given a full battery bank... what are your thoughts on alternative storage methods, i.e. shunting dump circuits. The obvious one would be to heat water, given that we all heat water. If though, one wanted to "bulk store" energy... in a form that would not deteriorate (water cools for instance)... do you have any ideas? For example, possibly compressed air, and some type of tesla turbine generator to reconvert back to electricity, at any later point. Or another might be a hoffman voltometer, capture and store low pressured hydrogen in refitted propane tanks. Thanks for all of your great videos and explanations.

Given a fully charged battery bank the excess energy would need to be used as it is produced, the extra can be converted into several forms depending on the need's by the user. The technology isn't there at this time for long term storage of "pure energy". Energy can be generated in several forms and converted into several forms. If one wanted to "bulk store" energy in a form that would not deteriorate it would depend on the form of energy one was trying to store. This intern would determine how a form of energy is to be stored. At this time the best storage forms of energy is in it's natural state. Today we can only maintain our needs with the science we have at present..
